Dandelion Time supports children aged 7-16 who are experiencing serious behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, resulting from trauma, abuse, neglect or domestic violence.

Dandelion offers an innovative approach working with the child and wider family using a programme of therapeutic farm and craft activities to help them overcome their emotional difficulties, whilst supporting the family to build stronger relationships and a more secure home environment. Families engage with the natural world through caring for animals, growing and harvesting vegetables and using natural products such as clay, wool and green wood for craft making. The outdoor activities and exercise offered at Dandelion Time promote good physical and mental health and connection with the natural environment.

Independent evaluation shows dramatic improvements in emotional wellbeing and conduct in referred children.
